Ok, perhaps a little hyper-real version of gum as sunrise.

Walking around Brooklyn took me to the house where I grew up (at least one of the many) and the 7th Ave. subway stop that took me to school each morning. This is on the stairway going down into the depths and I suppose the yellow line is so you don't miss the stairs altogether. Perhaps there is ancient gum buried under layers of yellow MTA paint.

I know I am supposed to be doing this (posting) more often, but this is after all, blobs of gum on the street. Then again, the very mundane-ness of it all forces me to find things that interest at least me ( I can't speak for anyone else!). Perhaps the sheer amount of gum blobs just seems overwhelming? At least this was a cool passing shadow as the clouds cleared.

I was wondering what came first: the gum or the antifreeze? Was a smoker going for a hole in one in cigarette flicking? Something I might do is to try and discard my used oral castoff into a disgusting pool of old antifreeze...but that's just me.
